This project was originally designed to be built with structural steel framing which required extensive 3D modeling of the entire structure. Due to budgetary constraints, it was decided to change to a wood frame structure with the intent of maintaining the original look and feel of the steel design. LEI played a critical role in determining the structural requirements need in the wood frame design to verify that: 1) a wood structure would fit within the confines of the budget, and 2) that the wood frame design would maintain the architectural appeal of the original steel design
